1. Who we are

Senatek Recruitment Limited ("Senatek", "we", "us") is a specialist recruitment consultancy and is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice.

2. What we collect

When you use our contact form we collect your name and email address, and — where you provide them — your phone number, company name or current role, the sector you're interested in, and the content of your message.

If you're a candidate and send us a CV or discuss a role with us, we may also hold your employment history, qualifications, certifications, salary expectations, notice period, location preferences and right-to-work information.

If you're a client we hold business contact details for the people we work with, along with role briefs and hiring requirements.

We do not use tracking or advertising cookies on this website, and we do not run analytics that profile you. Our web host records standard server logs, including IP address, for security and reliability. This site also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your IP address is shared with Google in order to serve them.

We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and we do not seek special category data. Please don't include it in your message unless a role genuinely requires it.

3. Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We will never send your CV or details to a client without telling you who they are and getting your agreement first.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal data only where we need to:

• Client employers — candidate details, with your consent, on a named basis
• Service providers who help us run the business: our email provider (Microsoft), our website host (Cloudflare) and the service that delivers contact-form messages to us (Resend). These act on our instructions under contract
• Professional advisers and authorities where the law requires it

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for third-party marketing.

5. Where your data is held

Our providers may process data outside the UK. Where that happens we rely on UK adequacy regulations, or on standard contractual clauses together with appropriate safeguards, so your data keeps an equivalent level of protection.

6. How long we keep it

• General enquiries: up to 12 months from our last contact
• Candidate records: up to 24 months from our last meaningful contact, then deleted or anonymised — unless you ask us to keep them longer so we can consider you for future roles
• Placement, contractual and financial records: up to 7 years, to meet tax and legal requirements

You can ask us to delete your details sooner at any time — see section 7.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Ask what personal data we hold about you, and get a copy
• Have inaccurate data corrected
• Ask us to delete your data
• Ask us to restrict how we use it
• Object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests
• Ask for your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent at any time, where we relied on consent

8. Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office:
